We are providing The Hospital Report Research Collaborative (HRRC), based at the University of Toronto, with a web-based reporting solution for its provincial hospital scorecard reports. The HRRC solution, built on the engine will be used by Hospital board members and senior hospital staff involved in strategic planning,other hospital staff responsible for development and management of quality improvement initiatives, and, HRRC membersThe Metrics3D technology will facilitate the private dissemination of performance data included in the Hospital Reports to all participating hospitals, provide an analytical interface for end-user hospitals to manipulate the data included in the Hospital Reports.
The Community Care Access Centres of HNHB, Champlain and Central, working with ABS, developed and populated an integrated performance measurement system utilising ABS’ Metrics3D technology. Each organization has access to a range of indicators, predefined reports, data definitions, and user views, with a focus on the integration of provider data, among the many sources of included data. Senior Management and staff are able to access a variety of reports and indicators to assess overall performance and the organizations decision making process.
ABS System Consultants has partnered with SRB International to provide Ontario school
boards with local solutions for decision support. These MISA- compliant applications
combine the data elements, indicators, metadata, reports and a complete suite analytical
and reporting functionality for student, school and board level decision support.
SRB has specialized is serving School Districts for over 20 years and is the dominant
vendor of Student Information Systems in Ontario, supplying and/or supporting Student
Information Systems in 50 of Ontario's 72 School Districts.
The outcome of the project included a comprehensive Business Metrics and Performance Management Solution to establish baseline performance and to substantiate performance improvements. ABS evaluated, developed and implemented the methodology to facilitate and expedite the process of data collection and analysis of the qualitative terms and conditions contained in over 1000 hard-copy collective agreements between local school boards and their staff, covering elementary teachers, secondary teachers, and various support staff (all but teachers) unions. The metrics maintained in ECAS are used to plan, negotiate, and predict the future outcomes of the collective negotiation process across all school boards.
PMBS is the Ontario Fire Marshal\'s Internet-based software application to collect, display and report on the performance of the municipal fire services. Shaping Fire-Safe Communities is a web-based risk managing planning application, executed from within the password-protected area, designed to assist the Fire Marshal business processes by providing an intuitive step-wise risk assessment model and fire prevention effectiveness planning processes. Municipalities and fire services have the ability to undergo a systematic evaluation and selection of the best options in meeting community fire protection needs, resulting in the effective management of fires and other emergencies. The application serves as decision support tool, guiding users through a systematic and comprehensive series of steps, enabling users to make decisions and document/record these decisions at each step, culminating in a comprehensive risk management plan. Overall, the system assists to identify potential risks and to assist with identifying options and solutions. The SFSC provides a transparent and user-friendly interface with a powerful analytical engine, to provide a revolutionary model for the design and development of a local, specific community based master fire plan.
PRISM is the OPP\'s performance measurement application, designed to provide senior level decision makers access to critical data to allow them to intuitively plan, monitor, evaluate and control expenditures and activities. This system is being developed and implemented to address the unique business requirements of the OPP.
